A talented competitor, Madeline is the first-prize winner of the 2022 Indianapolis Matinee Musicale competition, a prize winner in the 2022 National Society of Arts and Letters competition, and a finalist in both the 2021 and 2024 John Alexander Vocal Competitions, as well as the 2025 Lewisville Symphony International Voice Competition.

Now based in New York City, she lives with her partner, Sam, and their dog, Lenny.

Madeline is a Hattie Mae Leslie Resident Artist for Fort Worth Opera’s 2025-2026 season. She will sing multiple roles with the company during her tenure, including Adelaide in Phillip Glass's La Belle et La Bête, Stephano in Gounod's 

Romeo et Juliette, and Kate Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly.

riginally from Indiana, Madeline earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she performed several mainstage roles including Josephine The Turn of the Screw, Sandmann in Hansel und Gretel, and Helen Bailey in Jake Heggie’s It’s a Wonderful Life.

In 2022, she made her professional debut as Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance at Cedar Rapids Opera. Later that year, she joined Charlottesville Opera’s Ader Emerging Artist program, where she sang Baroness Elsa Schrader in The Sound of Music and covered Valencienne in The Merry Widow. In 2023, she returned to Charlottesville to cover Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls and also performed as a soloist with the Oratorio Society of Virginia.

In the summer of 2024, Madeline joined the Ohio Light Opera Company, revisiting her role as Sarah Brown. In spring 2025, she returned to Charlottesville Opera for Sing Me a Story and participated in Marshall Opera’s Oral History Project, premiering Maggie’s Dilemma from Hobson’s Choice, a new opera by Tom Cipullo.
